POLE classes -

Intro to pole Dancing

In this class you will learn a choreographed routine.  The routine will consist of an spin, climb, descending from a climb and sexy dance transitions to connect it.  You will only be expected to learn the routine on the dominant side of your body.  This class is NOT mandatory to take Climb & Spin.

Climb & Spin(BEG/ INT)

(We recommend taking the intro class at least once, before this class)

Every great dancer and athete begins their training with a solid foundation.  The BEG/INT LEVEL is where you learn & refine your pole dance technique while building strengh, control, stamina, proper body mechanics and muscle memory which will make advanced sills easier to master.  Through creative, fun and sexy pole dance routines, you’ll learn the important details of grips, braces, hooks, spin sets & spin impulses (C&S Fundabmentals).  Plus, you’ll develop an extensive movement vocabulary of climbs, spins, stationary bent arm poses, floor work & sexy dance transitions that incorporated into every C&S pole dance routine.  In fact every C&S routine includes 1 climb, 1 spin, 1 stationary bent arm pose plus floor work & sexy dance transitions.

Climb & Spin(INT/ ADV)

(Pre- requisite:  instructor referral)

After building a solid foundation in your pole dance training through the beg/int level, you are proficient in all the C&S fundamentals (grips, braces, hooks, spin sets & spin impulses), you have an extensive movement vocabulary & are comfortable learning chorographed pole dance routines.  Now you’re ready for the challenge of learning C&S routines that include advanced spins, combo spins, spinning climbs, spinning descends plus advanced stationary bent ar poses, floor-work and dance transitions;  all of which requires solid technique, strength, coordination and control.  The INT/ADV level is also designed to help you develop individual artistry, fluidity of movement, seamless dance transitions & musicality.  You’ll incorporate all of these advanced skills into choreographed C&S pole dance routines that include 1 spin or combo spin, 1 climb, 1 stationary bent arm pose plus floor-work & sexy dance transitions.

Climb & Invert

(Pre-requisite:  You MUST test out of C&S  FIRST)

Climb & Spin prepares you for the incredible amount of strength, stability, and coordination it takes to invert safely, successfully and with beautiful control.  You will progressively learn variations of advanced spins,  inversions from the floor & inversions from a climb.  Plus you will learn to embellish the spins and stationary bent arm  poses you already know with the challenging push/ pull grip which adds a new aesthetic and dimension to your repertoire.  In CLIMB & INVERT, you will learn  choreographed pole dance routines that blend all of your pole tricks & dance skills from C&S with inversions; making you a well rounded pole dancer.

This class is currently only available in NYC - Maximum 6 people

Open Pole

(Pre-reguisite:  You MUST have pole expeirence to take this class.)

This class is designed  to give you some practice time on the pole, with an instructor there to help you.  The instructor will help you on whatever challenges you are facing in C&S or C&I classroom.  This class is also for testing from C&S to C&I.

Maximum 5 - 6 people per class

This class is not offered in our Kalamazoo location, but will be in Fall 2010.

Lap Dance

Do you want to temp and tease your lover?  Work him into a frenzy with a “look don’t touch” lapdance?  (of course rules are made to be broken) as you snake yourself around his body and wind your hips inches from his lap... he will be puddy in your hands!

This class is NOT offered at our Kalamazoo location.

Sexy Seats

Using your chair as a prop, you will learn a sexy dance routine using a chair and the floor.

This class is only offered in NYC, and on some Wed. in White Plains.


FIT classes -

Booty Camp

Please bring your sneakers to this class.

Booty camp is a resistance training workout.  This class will help you build strength, endurance plus, improve balance and coordination.  This will help you to advance in pole dancing faster. 

This is NOT a dance class.

Stretch

This class will focus on  active & static stretching to increase your flexibility, lesson your chance of injury, advancement in pole dancing & just make your body feel better.

Pilates Mat

Improve your climbs, spins, inverts & descends with the core strength, control, stamina, flexibility and balance that comes from this classical pilstes mat class, designed for pole dancers. 

Yoga - Anusara

Anusara is a yoga based on the Universal Principles of Alignment.  Through alignment we experience our own unique abilities while honoring our limitations.   Alignment is the foundation of a yoga practice.  Alignment allows us to reach our goals in yoga.  Whether it is a challenging pose or to make us stronger in the basics, Anusara provides a safe, playful yet challenging form of exercise plus has numerous health benfits.

    We require at least 24 hours notice in order to cancel or reschedule

all Classes, and 14 days advance notice for all parties.  Please book all

   classes at least 24 hours in advance.   Late entries into class are not 

                permitted. (this would be a considered a cancelation.)
